New light and parking improvements in Chinatown aim to reduce accidents and boost business

Clark County has taken steps to address safety concerns, particularly pedestrian safety on Spring Mountain Road. A new traffic light was installed near Spring Mountain Road and Arville Street, providing a safer crossing between Shanghai Plaza and the original Chinatown Plaza.

Anthony Esther, who works at Alchemist Bar and Restaurant, described the previous situation as "crazy," with pedestrians taking risks to cross the busy street.

Businesses in the area, like Weera Thai Chinatown, have also benefited.
