Children’s TV star Mr Bloom, a science rapper, flamingo dancing, a life-sized giraffe puppet and a poo science lab are among the stars of the show as Chester Zoo launches its major summer-long Wild Worlds festival.
A spectacular parade of specially commissioned performances and events for families will take over Chester Zoo this May bank holiday and half term week.
The events mark the launch of Chester Zoo’s first ever Wild World’s festival, which includes a series of specially created installations in garden spaces throughout the zoo, celebrating gardens, science and nature.
The festival of installations and activities will run throughout the summer, from 26 May to 30 September 2018.
