recipe :
Ingredients (Cake):
3 eggs
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup oil
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon baking powder
2 cups flour
Instructions (Cake):
Mix all the ingredients together.
Pour the batter into a baking pan and bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (350°F) for about 30 minutes.
At the end, turn on the top heat (grill/broil) briefly until the surface of the cake becomes golden.
Second Layer (Custard & Jelly Topping):
1 cup milk
2 heaping tablespoons cornstarch
A little vanilla
3 tablespoons sugar
3 tablespoons jelly powder (any flavor)
1/2 cup boiling water
Mix the milk, cornstarch, vanilla, and sugar.
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.
Dissolve the jelly powder in the boiling water, then add it to the mixture and stir until smooth.
Strain the mixture, let it cool slightly, then pour it over the cake.
Decorate with chocolate, pomegranate seeds, or pistachios.
