🎯 THE 5 REASONS GOD SENT JESUS:
*1. THE PROBLEM SIN CREATED*
Genesis 3 - Adam and Eve's rebellion broke the world. Sin entered creation like a virus, contaminating every human. Romans 6:23 - "The wages of sin is death." We couldn't fix ourselves. We couldn't bridge the gap between holy God and sinful humanity.
*2. GOD'S JUSTICE DEMANDED PAYMENT*
Psalm 89:14 - "Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne." God cannot ignore sin. His holiness cannot coexist with evil. Habakkuk 1:13 - "You cannot look on wickedness." Justice required punishment. The debt had to be paid.
*3. GOD'S LOVE REFUSED TO ABANDON*
John 3:16 - "For God SO loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son." God could have let us face judgment alone. But love refused. Romans 5:8 - "While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Incomprehensible love for undeserving rebels.
*4. JESUS BECAME THE SUBSTITUTE*
Isaiah 53:5-6 - "He was wounded for our transgressions... the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all." Jesus took our place. Our sin placed on Him. His righteousness given to us. The great exchange. Substitutionary atonement.
*5. THE CROSS ACCOMPLISHED SALVATION*
What Jesus achieved: Redemption (bought us from slavery to sin), Reconciliation (ended our war with God), Justification (declared us righteous), Propitiation (satisfied God's wrath), Forgiveness (canceled our debt), Victory (defeated Satan and death), Eternal Life (gave us abundant life now and forever).

💡 CRITICAL TRUTHS EXPLAINED:
*WHY THE CROSS WAS NECESSARY:*
God is perfectly just AND perfectly loving. He couldn't ignore sin (violates justice) but He didn't want to abandon us (opposes love). The cross is where justice and mercy meet. Jesus satisfied God's wrath (justice) while rescuing sinners (love).
*WHY ONLY JESUS COULD SAVE:*
Required: (1) Fully HUMAN - to represent humanity and die in our place, (2) Perfectly SINLESS - only innocent substitute qualifies, (3) Infinitely DIVINE - one death of infinite value pays for unlimited sinners. Only Jesus met all three requirements.
*THE GREAT EXCHANGE:*
Our sin → Placed on Jesus (He bore our guilt)
His righteousness → Given to us (we receive His perfection)
Our death → He died it (substitution)
His life → We receive it (justification)
