Judge Reinstates Medicaid Work Requirements in Georgia

Описание: On August 19, a federal judge reinstated Medicaid work requirements in Georgia. It was back in late 2021, that the Biden Administration’s Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) revoked Georgia's ability to charge premiums and allow work requirements in the state’s Medicaid program. Georgia challenged CMS's decision in Federal District Court, and now US District Judge Lisa Wood called the actions of CMS to strike work from Medicaid "arbitrary and capricious." We explain.
