In June 2023, I joined Greg Shepherd on the return leg of his road trip from Darwin to Brisbane in his BMW M850i.
We had a blast driving in the Northern Territory on the open road at 130 kilometres per hour..Naturally, we slowed down when we crossed the border back into Queensland, but still a great ride.
All was going well until day 4 of our trip when we were 343 from our destination of Longreach where we received a warning from the car's tyre monitor.
We were losing pressure in one of the rear tyres.
Modern BMWs have no spare tyres! But Greg was prepared.
