Описание: A man was killed and another injured following a shooting in Fyzabad on Wednesday 27th September, 2023.

• The deceased was identified as 33-year-old Rishi Smith of St Joseph Street, Fyzabad while the injured man was identified as Emmanuel Cudjoe aka “Mano” of Archibald Street, Fyzabad.

• Both victims were liming at Archibald Street in Fyzabad when gunmen approached firing several shots at them before running off.

• Smith and Cudjoe both slumped to the ground and bystanders quickly alerted the police.

• Both victims were taken to the San Fernando general hospital where Smith succumbed to his injuries and Cudjoe remains warded in critical condition.

• Investigations are ongoing.

The last murder that occurred in the Fyzabad area was on Monday 12th June, 2023 when 37-year-old Kerron Montrose of Pepper Village, Fyzabad was shot and killed at his friend’s home in Fyzabad.
