The first and only presidential debate between Donald Trump and Joe Biden happened on June 27 2024.
Nearly 100 million people tuned in to watch the debate live, to finally get a chance to see each candidate argue their side and their policies.
Most importantly, the American public and the world tuned in to get a glimpse at the cognitive state of each candidate.
We wanted reassurance that Biden, the then current leader of the free world didn't in fact have dementia, we wanted reassurance that his opponent Trump can be contained and disciplined.
Well, all that was on raw display that night. The world got to witness some very sad moments as well as some uplifting moments.
We got to see Biden fails, gaffes and mumbles.
We got to see Trump wins, zingers, and witty comebacks.
But most importantly we saw one candidate who is barely present and cannot get facts stats or his own reality straight, and by contrast one candidate who seemed put together, disciplined, cares for America and wants to make this nation great.
