From the ancient lands along the Jordan River to its vibrant cities and desert communities, this country holds a unique place in the story of faith and history. It is also a nation known for its resilience, hospitality, and its important role in the Middle East.

Behind the landscapes and historical landmarks are real families, leaders, workers, and young people navigating economic challenges, regional tensions, and the pressures of modern life. Like every nation, Jordan needs wisdom, stability, hope, and spiritual strength.

Today we come together as believers around the world to pray for Jordan.

Before we begin, we also want to say welcome to all of our new subscribers who have recently joined the Pray for the Nations community. We are grateful that you are here. This channel exists to bring believers together to pray for every nation on earth. Together we are building a global community of intercessors who believe that prayer can bring healing, hope, and transformation to nations.

Scripture reminds us in James 5:16, “The prayer of the righteous is powerful and effective.” Our prayers matter, and God hears every prayer spoken in faith.

We begin by praying for leaders and governing authorities in Jordan. Lord, grant them wisdom, discernment, and humility as they guide the nation through complex challenges. May their decisions promote peace, justice, and stability for all who live within the country.

We lift up families and communities across Jordan. Strengthen homes. Provide opportunities for employment, education, and growth. Bring hope where people feel discouraged and peace where there is uncertainty.

We also pray for refugees and displaced families who have found shelter in Jordan. Many people fleeing conflict in neighboring regions now live within its borders. Lord, bring comfort, provision, and protection to these families. Strengthen the communities that support them.

We pray for the young people of Jordan, that they would grow with hope, purpose, and wisdom. Raise up leaders who value peace, compassion, and justice.

We also intercede for spiritual openness and renewal across the nation. Strengthen churches, believers, and ministries serving faithfully. May the message of hope and love shine through acts of compassion and service. Let hearts be open to truth and faith.

Even though many of us live far from Jordan, distance does not limit God. He hears every prayer spoken across languages and continents.
