Описание: This service learning trip took place at Keihoku, a village located in the north of Kyoto. Our objective of this trip is to understand the local culture and trace down the fundamental problems that the village is currently facing. Prior to departure, we have attended an intensive one-week seminar in order to understand our objectives of the project as well as to do some research on the area. 30 students from different disciplines are divided into groups of 5 and worked on different aspects. Our group have worked on the preparation of documentation methods as well as finding 3 precedent studies that show the success of the revitalization of old village towns from Spain, France and China.
