Meet Nikki Scott.
In 2009 her husband, Corporal Lee Scott, was killed in Afghanistan while serving in the British Army, leaving their two young children – Kai and Brooke - without a father.
After struggling to find the right help for her family following Lee’s death, Nikki founded Scotty’s Little Soldiers.
The charity offers vital support for bereaved British Forces children and the Veterans’ Foundation is proud to have provided Scotty’s with nearly £400,000 in grants.
Please take a few minutes to listen to Nikki’s story.
