Rockstar Games has been a pioneer in the video game world since it was founded in 1998. However, since around 2014, the Rockstar Games that long-time fans have known has changed. This is due in part to the massive success of GTA Online. But also in this time frame, two MAJOR figures and powerhouses at Rockstar have left the company. The first being Leslie Benzies, President of Rockstar North. He produced EVERY Grand Theft Auto game from 2001-2013. The second being the co-founder of Rockstar Games, Dan Houser. He departed in March 2020 for unknown reasons. And as of recent, we have seen the Rockstar Games community voice their frustrations on Rockstar Games releasing GTA 5 for a THIRD time on the PS5. At this point, GTA fans just want a new game. But because of the massive success of GTA Online, that isn't happening. Is it Rockstar Games or Take 2 Interactive to blame?
