Join me for a walk around the DPS workshop at Barrow Hill. See the condition of the three DPS locos onsite with 008 'The Green Howards' cab available to visit also.
Onsite are the following -
009 'Alycidon' - In operational condition and due to work through Summer/Autumn 2023
015 'Tulyar' - Overhaul in progress. The loco last worked in 1997.
019 'Royal Highland Fusilier' - Minor repairs underway. 019 is next scheduled to work in 2024.
The volunteers at the DPS do a great job managing these classic locos and are always up for a chat - Please pop in to see the DPS team if you're near Barrow Hill on a Saturday/Sunday. It's an amazing worksop to visit.
