This is my walk around the city of Yonago (plus a bonus bus ride to the edge of town). Yonago is the hub of western Tottori Prefecture, a rare instance of a small Japanese city whose population is not declining. The town is a compelling mixture of new-looking businesses and restaurants, and older well-worn houses and streets, often with motley groups of houses at every angle.
