In the process, I explore my personal ancestral roots of Conversos who came to Santa Fe in the 17th century to escape the Inquisition. Of course, I make sure not to miss out on the famous New Mexican Chiles and have some Christmas Enchiladas. Feeling uninspired by city vibes, (for yet another consecutive day), I dip out of town to go explore the Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument.
