Contextual background for a few things mentioned in the video:
It's hard to describe the relationship between Headphones & the HOA in short fashion because there's more nuance than a simple summary could provide. Headphones had been avoiding the HOA for over a month at this point after a particular event. Both Luis, Nico, and many other HOA members were considered good & close friends to her. Headphones wanted to protect them from dangerous elements of the character's backstory by cutting off their relationship so that the HOA wouldn't be targeted or harmed. Luis misconstrued this in many ways by accidentally twisting her words and spreading his interpretation amongst the gang which caused a lot of heated confusion. As she attempted to say her final goodbyes to Nico, this led to a forced ending that Luis imposed onto him after misconstruing Nico's words and taking them far too literally. Ironically, during that time, only Rod was able to realize what Headphones was trying to do and spoke in her defense. Ultimately, following the nearly attempted execution and murder of Headphones on a beach by both Luis & Nico with a few other HOA members present, Julio stepped in last second to save her and offer the support of the HOA with her problems after she agreed to let them. However, she disappeared from the city for over a week afterwards and began avoiding the gang and Mirror Park entirely upon her return. This was their first time seeing each other since the incident.
Nico in particular had a rough time coming to terms with what he did and was going to do for the sake of the gang & Luis. As Lilith was kicked out of the HOA and WW3 on the horizon, both Luis & Nico talked a lot about the gang needing more Command. With Andi trying to push for Luis & Nico to take more leadership responsibilities (and Stanley already wanting them), thus the jokes of them being bred into High Command.
Rod & Izzy's wedding was scheduled a few days later, and Rod had planned to stir as much spice as possible by inviting specific people, though some did not (or could not) attend. In the end, it did lead to the Guild x HOA relationship dissolving due to Lando & Nick Simone's attendance. Headphones however didn't interact with any other HOA or enter the Liquid Library at the reception, simply leaving unceremoniously after standing around the outskirts.
