How to draw the effects of wind on hair.
The steps I used in this video:
1. draw the face :)
2. pick wind direction
3. pick point on the head that the hair flows from
4. use regular and "S" curves to draw hair
5. try to vary the hair shapes
Some points:
-- on one side of the face, draw the hair pressing against the face (her left side)
-- sometimes you can erase some of the lines of the hair (corners and tips) to create a lighter feeling for the hair.
-- don't be afraid to make mistakes. erase, experiment and have fun!
