The Sydney Royal Horse Show is Australia’s longest-standing equestrian competition, established in 1822 and recognised as a premier national showcase for breeders, stables and horse enthusiasts. Held annually at the Sydney Showground’s ENGIE Stadium and Schmidt Arena, the event attracts over 4,500 entries across a twelve-day program featuring breed, hack, harness, pony club, riding, showjumping, campdraft and rodeo classes. Exhibitors qualify through placings at agricultural and breed shows, presenting horses for independent judging on conformation, movement, presentation and breed standard.
