Heroic Defense of Gabala | Total War Rome II Armenia Campaign #01

Описание: Armenia begins its campaign surrounded by uncertain allies and dangerous enemies. The first objective is clear: secure Caucasia before stronger powers intervene.

After capturing Mtsketa, Armenian forces advance toward Gabala. Ardhan attempts to stop the expansion, but a desperate defensive battle turns into a heroic victory that opens the road deeper into the region.

The success draws the attention of the nomadic Aorsoi. Their horse archers swarm the battlefield twice, attempting to overwhelm Armenian positions during the sieges of Gabala. Despite inferior mobility, disciplined missile units manage to repel the attacks.

With the northern threat contained, Armenia marches on Phasis. Cimmeria intervenes in a final attempt to stop the conquest of Caucasia, but Armenian missile superiority and decisive Persian cavalry charges secure the province.

Two provinces are now under Armenian control.
The eastern expansion is only beginning.
