1️⃣Hair doesn’t grow as fast as you think it does.😂

When I was coloring my hair, it seemed like my hair grew super fast! I had to get the roots done every 4 weeks. But, once I #ditchedthedye and wanted my hair to grow fast….it didn’t. 🥴

2️⃣There is no “right” way to go gray!

Let it grow out, get highlights or lowlights, do color correction. Whatever feels right for you and your situation is just fine!

3️⃣Grays can be fragile.

Gray hair can be more susceptible to damage. Make sure you are staying hydrated by drinking plenty of water. Eat nutritious foods. Take supplements that support hair strength like biotin & collagen. Use products that provide hydration, protection and fortify and strengthen your hair.

4️⃣Grays are sensitive to UV & heat exposure.

Be sure to protect them with products containing UV filters. If you use heat styling tools, ALWAYS use a heat protectant. If you notice brassiness, you can counteract that with a good, hydrating and nourishing purple shampoo & masque.

5️⃣How much I would love my natural color!

Ultimately, you have to do what makes YOU feel beautiful & confident in your natural beauty. If that’s continuing to color your hair, do it! If that’s letting your natural color grow, do it! Regardless of what you choose, there will always be someone with an opinion. The only opinion that matters is YOURS!
