Kenya is said to be the future super power of Africa and in this video, I will be discussing the shocking breakthroughs that are set to make Kenya one of the leading global powers.
Despite having multiple challenges, Kenya remains East and Central Africa’s largest business hub with investors from all over the world dissecting ways in which they can invest in Kenya. It is not a landlocked country, a feature which promotes 80% of East Africa’s trade through the Port of Mombasa.
Nevertheless, I will not fail to mention that it’s key challenges still remains, accountability in government, poverty and massive youth unemployment. However, it’s economy keeps on brooming and rising at a faster rate than most of the countries at its caliber.

Thank you all who have done that, now let us continue,
Number one, the palm Exotica. Standing at 370 meters, the upcoming skyscraper Palm Exotica will be the tallest in Africa, situated at watamu beach in Malindi. The 61-storeyed Palm Exotica will be developed by New York and South Africa investors and Italian billionaire Franco Rosco. The building has been designed by Italian architect Lorenzo Pagnini and the design has borrowed from traditionally crafted art pieces of the local culture.
Number two, The Pinnacle, also called Pinnacle Towers. It is a building on hold in Nairobi, the capital and largest city of Kenya. When completed, the skyscraper is expected to become the second tallest building in Africa after Egypt's Iconic Tower, and the third tallest building in the Southern Hemisphere, at 70 stories and over 1,000 feet or 300 meters in height.
The skyscraper is located in Upper Hill, on a 2.5 acres piece of property, approximately 4 kilometers south-west of the city Centre of Nairobi, the capital city of Kenya.
Number three, Tana River nuclear plant. Kenya intends to build a 5 billion dollars nuclear power plant on the Tana River. The nuclear power station would be built by a private concessionaire, but the Kenyan taxpayer would still have to pay for it through a Power Purchase Agreement with Kenya Power.
Number four is the Lapsset Corridor Program. It is a regional flagship project intended to provide transport and logistics infrastructure aimed at creating seamless connectivity between the Eastern African Countries of Kenya, Ethiopia and South Sudan. The project connects a population of 160million people in the three countries. Additionally, the LAPSSET Corridor is part of the larger land bridge that will connect the East African coast from Lamu Port to the West coast of Africa at Douala Port.
The LAPSSET Corridor is intended to operate as an Economic Corridor with the objective of providing multiple Eastern African nations access to a large-scale economic trade system thereby promoting socio-economic development in the region. The LAPSSET program consists of several subsidiary projects (“project components”) in Kenya, and in the region.
At number five is the Dubbed Northlands City. The development that is estimated to cost Ksh 500 billion, will occupy an 11,576-parcel of land in Ruiru – about 15km from the Nairobi city Centre. The land, which is traversed by the Eastern Bypass, is owned by the Kenyatta Family and is currently occupied by its dairy processor Brookside. According to the Northlands City’s master plan, some 3,570 acres have been earmarked for housing – with 3,134 acres set aside for low density housing, 306 acres for high density housing, and 130 acres for medium density residential housing.
