BMW E36 Front Hub & Bearing Rebuild – Fixing Years of Neglect | Episode 2
This is Episode 2 of my BMW E36 restoration project.
After stripping and refreshing the entire front suspension in the previous episode, the final parts stopping the front end from going back together were the front hubs and wheel bearings.
In this video, I rebuild both front hubs from scratch — pressing out the old bearings, inspecting worn components, and dealing with the consequences of years of neglect.
This 1999 BMW E36 328i was left sitting outside for a long time, so rather than blindly replacing parts, everything is carefully assessed, cleaned, and rebuilt properly where possible.
