** PATTERN BELOW**
This is a great project if you are just starting to crochet. This dog or cat bed is done with just the chain stitch and single crochet and works up in about 2 hours.
Pattern:
Chain 3. Join chain 3 to chain 1 with a slip stitch to form a circle. Chain one
Round 1: sc 8 into center of circle
Round 2: sc 2 into EACH sc (16)
Round 3: * sc into first stitch. sc 2 into second stitch. * Repeat 7 times (24)
Round 4: * sc into first and second stitches. sc 2 into third stitch* Repeat 7 times (32)
Round 5: sc into first, second, and third stitches. sc 2 into fourth stitch Repeat 7 times (40)
Round 6: sc into first four stitches. sc 2 into fifth stitch Repeat 7 times (48)
Round 7: sc into first five stitches. sc 2 into sixth stitch Repeat 7 times (56)
Round 8: sc BLO into each of the 56 stitches
Round 9-18: sc into each stitch
Fasten off and weave in ends. Fold edges in half to make a more stable bed.
