We stayed at the historic Izaak Walton Inn near Glacier National Park. This inn was originally built as housing for workers of the Great Northern Railway and now serves as a year-round guest lodge with a strong railroad theme.
The inn has a cross-country ski operation into the back country and an excellent restaurant. Guests have the option of sleeping in hotel rooms, railroad cabooses, and a real locomotive.
