I shot this flyover on November 18th, 2024. Construction is very close to completion, and Track 2 is expected to open in early 2025.
The racetrack's width is 40 feet all the way around, and the front straightaway is 50 feet wide. Track 2’s facilities will include its own race tower, museum, food services, bathrooms, and 16 Tesla Superchargers. The track's road base is 100 percent recycled from an I-5 project. The rubberized asphalt will also be made from at least 25 percent recycled asphalt, with rubber pellets from shredded tires to help sustain consistency through hot-weather track conditions. It is built to FIA level 4 grade standards.
