Rear end noise is a dreaded one. In this car we have an independent rear suspension style Differential. This one is found in the 2004-2006 GTO/ Holden Monaro. The Rear End is comprised of spider gears, friction cones, bearings, and a ring and pinion. These parts over time wear out and when your accelerating in your vehicle and making turns can become quite noisy. When they start making this noise its time to diagnose and fix the rear differential.

This is known as a rear end but even though its an IRS style It can be found in many solid axel types of vehicles and IRS like the HOLDEN, HSV, Camaro, Corvette, F-150, Dodge Dakota, Chevy Avalanche, GMC Yukon, Chevy Silverado, Dodge Ram, Chevy Suburban and Cadillac Escalade.
