Deciding to undergo hip surgery to correct impingement and repair the labrum is not an easy task!
That’s why, in this video, I want to share the reasons why I chose surgery over non-surgical treatment, and how I came to that decision.
I believe it’s very important to weigh different factors when deciding whether surgery is the right option or not. About half of the people with hip impingement and/or a torn labrum don’t experience symptoms or are able to manage them and live happily. Many of them choose non-surgical treatments instead.
But in my case, there were several factors that led me to want surgery, and in this video I explain what they were and why each one mattered to me personally.
