Описание:
Puccinia graminis is a macrocyclic heteroecious rust. There are five types of spores, viz., uredospores, teleutospores, basidiospores, pycnidiospores and aeciospores in their life cycle. These spores develop in two different hosts in a definite sequence. The sequence of various stages occurring in the primary and alternate hosts are as follows.
on primary host (Triticum aestivum)
• Uredospore stage
• Teleutospore stage
• Basidiospore stage
on alternate host (Berberis vulgaris)
• Pycnidiospore stage
• Aeciospore stage
