What started as a simple Saturday drone tutorial turned into an absolute drone debacle.

The plan was easy:
Call my buddy Robin.
Teach him how to fly a drone.
Celebrate getting the motorcycle running again.

Instead… the tree gods claimed another victim.

After a perfectly bad crash, my drone lodged itself WAY up in a Georgia tree — above power lines, over the river, basically in another zip code. We tried everything:

• Drone claw rescue attempt
• Blanket catch setup
• Fishing line strategy
• 14 feet of PVC pipe engineering experiment
• Branch shaking
• Pure denial

And somehow… we ended up with TWO drones stuck in the same tree.

At that point, there was only one option left: call in a professional tree climber.

What happened next involved climbing spikes, throw lines, falcons circling overhead, and one seriously skilled arborist who made it look easy.

Both drones survived.
The tree still stands.
The Falcons did not interfere.
And yes… the drone will fly again.
