Описание: now this is a hidden tresure church in county durham this church is st michaels church at Heighton its a thin thin norman little church with a peal of 6 bells rung from the ground floor or can be chimed by 1 person by an Ellicombe chiming machine this church was about 10 mins away from The hotel where we stayed for 1 night at redworth Hall hotel it was appserlutley beautifull inside nice food nice breakfasts now the church only has 2 blue gold clock faces on 2 sides only the clock chimes every hours quarters but not in the right order nice country village around we all arrived about 3pm this was on a wedsnday afternoon on the 17th of febuary 2026 to see a vicar at his new chaple in county durham 50 mins to 1 hour from there thank you for letting me come for the overnight staff to all slaithwaite church who orgonised it thanks again stuart mills the worlds heaviest bellringers uk helpers hope we all go somewhere like that again in the near future maby spring or summer time now the church reminds me of filey st olswalds the norman bell tower that i am telling you all about weather very very cold and cloudy with little gusts no rain at all no only about 16 of us went but it was a worth visit and a change for me to visit 5 diffrent churches on 2 diffrent days hope you all like my churches tours
