Well we've finally made it to this part of the trip. It's an absolute landmark, an icon!
Up to this point, we've cycled over 2000km, from Vancouver to the woods of Washington, from the wild hills of the Lost Coast to the sweeping calm of the Avenue of The Giants.
Cycling across the Golden Gate Bridge is always a bit of a challenge, especially on a fully loaded touring bike. You're already a wide load, and this combined with thousands of tourist cyclists weaving across the path can be a bit crazy! Definitely worth doing, for the landmark alone though!
Our next big adventure is the wild cliffs of Big Sur...
