"Call Me Maybe" - Saint John Fisher (Deep Music Instrumental Group)

There are a lot of different music activities at our school. We also have a lot of students! So it seems we have a situation where many of our keen musicians are seeking new opportunities. Here we have our Deep Music Instrumental Group (gr. 4, 5 and 6) as a lunch time extracurricular activity. In just 6 weeks and 10 rehearsals this was the result!
We are very proud of this hard working cast of characters who all pulled through to give an energy-filled instrumental rendition of “Call Me Maybe” by Carly Rae Jepsen. I think a lot of our students were sad that it was over so soon. So we might have to find a new adventure for them this winter!
This is now our seventh year entering the contest, and our fourth time entering the Elementary Instrumental Category. As always, we are thrilled at the chance to share our music with the rest of Canada. Thank you once again to CBC Music for providing so many students with such an enjoyable, meaningful and inspirational opportunity! Good luck to all participants!!
