On this week's project we're laser engraving cutlery for a restaurant to have their logo on for a more professional look. Using the Trotec Speedy 300 FLEXX laser engraving machine. Here is how the ROI breaks down:

The FLEXX means it's a dual source laser, both Fiber and CO2 in one machine! We've engrave the wooden handle with the CO2 laser, while the metal blade and cutlery we've annealing with the Fiber. Annealing doesn't engrave into the metal (taking off material), but by going out of focus we can simply turn the chemical pigmentation of the metal to turn black - making it food safe!
