Mother 3 Ending: The Grand Finale

Описание: To answer the my own last question at the end of last video: Did the world of Mother 3 really end that way?

OF COURSE NOT! The Dark Dragon IS as huge as the Nowhere Island, so everyone would have to brace themselves for its rise. Then it would fix all of the problems that plague the game.

So now everyone's all right. The only thing I can do left is to "walk" around with the "END" sign.

I talk to possibly every character in the game as Carlos (my real name), with everyone thanking me for helping to save their whole world. I pick up a doorknob.

I think I even get to talk to Lucas at the end. Because it took a little while for the last person to thank me. I'm very certain that was Lucas thanking me for "guiding" him.

So then commences the best part about ending a Mother game since Earthbound. The CAST ROLL!

Nearly every single character in the game is shown, major, minor, heroic, villainous, neutral. Just about every one, but I can pick out a couple or so characters that I didn't see. Where's Mike?

It all finishes with Claus, who had just unmasked himself, walking side-by-side with his twin brother: The main protagonist of Mother 3: Lucas.

Together, they then run right off the screen.

The doorknob that had appeared since the begging of the game; the same one I picked up earlier, returns one last time.

Being shown here, this doorknob must represent the player, the one who just beat this game. In that case, it's ME!


So then the credits start rolling, showcasing many of the events that occurred throughout the game. All being played to a medley of the main themes of all 3 Mother games.

The credits respectfully end at the game's last scene of Hinawa, before her untimely death.
It makes more sense than you think. She is Lucas' MOTHER, after all.

The very final, final scene of the game shows that it has reached its end.
The most poignant part of the scene lies on the Mother 3 logo itself!
The logo has changed, as all of the metal it partially contained before is now all gone.
This left nothing but completely wooden text,
and the metallic sphere that represented the "O" has now become Mother Earth, herself.
It's very safe to safe that this new version of the Mother 3 logo is its true form, representing Nature being cleansed of "Corruption". Not to say that all machinery is corrupted. It's just how you use it that matters, and this game used it in a bad light.

And thus concludes the trilogy of Nintendo's most unique and interesting franchise, ever. Like it has been said, this game is "Strange, Funny, & Heartrending". That is the truth.
