In the colorful world of KPOP (Korean #케이팝), where catchy tunes and mesmerizing dance moves reign supreme, there's more than meets the eye. The Leader: The Ultimate Ringmaster
The eldest member of the group, or at least one of the eldest members, is typically (but not always) designated as the group's leader in most K-Pop ensembles. (Examples: Bang Chan (#방찬) from Stray Kids, Irene ( #배주현) from Red Velvet, etc.)

The band member who served as a trainee for the longest amount of time might occasionally be chosen as the band's leader. (Ex: Jihyo (박지효) from Twice (두 배). Some organizations lack a leader. Example: Blackpink (블랙핑크).

The leader's responsibility is to inspire, look out for, and represent the other members in various contexts, such as speaking on stage or at award ceremonies, etc. Additionally, he or she must possess maturity, charm, and the capacity to command the respect of the other band members.

The Vocalist: The Voice of an Angel
The Main Vocalist - The person with the best singing skills typically receives the most challenging vocal parts, which is the main vocalist. (Examples: The Boyz's New, #jihyo from #Twice, etc.)

The lead vocalist often has several singing opportunities and performs the chorus most of the time. Sometimes the main vocalist does the ad-libs while the lead vocalist sings the chorus.
