2025 Tour Divide - Days 15 & 16 - Steamboat Springs, Lynx Pass, Ute Pass and full throttle descents!

Описание: Leaving Brush Mountain Lodge at the start of day 15 of the 2025 Tour Divide, I immediately continued to climb up from the Colorado border. A series of climbs ensued before I dropped down into the lovely riverside town of Steamboat Springs, where I took a break to get my bike's bottom bracket replaced amidst a large bike festival surrounding the SBT GRVL race.

After rolling out of the town, I began a long, slow climb over the next 60km up to the summit of Lynx Pass, where I spent the night at Lynx Pass Campground at 9,000ft above sea level, after a 160km day.

Rolling out from the campground the next morning, I descended briefly from Lynx Pass before climbing back up again to traverse some additional mountains, before descending to the Colorado River and the Radium recreation area where I topped up my water. Another smaller climb preceded a long, fast descent to Kremmling where I resupplied and grabbed lunch ahead of a long 60km ascent to Ute Pass. Following this, another fast road descent took me to Silverthorne, where I joined a lovely scenic bike path through the town and along to the town of Frisco, where I called it a day at the Snowshoe Motel after a 162km day.
