After spending more than five decades on stage, Sir Billy retired from stand-up comedy last year. He’s now written a book containing some of his best material – Tall Tales and Wee Stories.
So when 5 live’s Nihal Arthanayake sat down with him to talk about his life and career – he invited some of modern British comedy’s biggest names – including Eddie Izzard, Romesh Ranganathan, Chris Ramsey, Joe Lycett and Jimeoin to ask Sir Billy their own question.
