OuTrop's Reforestation Project

Описание: With the help of 11 volunteers, the OuTrop team planted 1,105 trees along 7 reforestation transects (150m long) in one week during August 2014!

The new reforestation plots were in a degraded area on the edge of the Sabangau Forest. This replanting area had been destroyed as a result of previous logging and forest fires. We hope to restore it to its previous state as habitat for orangutans and other forest wildlife.
