And what better carol than commission a new carol!?

After an competition open to all under 18s living in Scotland, 15-year old Harry Baines was chosen to write a new carol for Nevis Ensemble. Set to a new Scots language text by Stuart Paterson, we feel it really hits home in 2020. Sung here by Andrea Baker alongside Nevis Ensemble.

When we aw gaither roon
