Diving constantly backfires, the bullet time feels more punishing than ever, and the story takes unexpected twists involving secret societies and criminal masterminds. Comparing Max Payne 1 and 2, I found myself questioning every decision, especially as the line between action and absurdity blurred into one hilarious mess.
