We stayed at Novotel Edinburgh Park Hotel and travelled by Tram to Edinburgh city centre. Tram station was only at 2-3 min walk from the hotel so no stress about taking car and find parking in Edinburgh city centre 😀

Remember to check tram and bus schedules for the most up-to-date information. You can get Trams ticket at the station or using mobile app as well.

This itinerary focuses solely on the places to visit, allowing you to explore dining options at your leisure.

Day 1: Old Town Exploration
Morning:
Start your day with breakfast at your accommodation.
Take a tram to Princes Street and walk to the Royal Mile.
Mid-morning:
Explore the historic Royal Mile, which includes sites like St. Giles' Cathedral and the Real Mary King's Close.
Afternoon:
Visit the iconic Edinburgh Castle, perched on Castle Rock.
