Another wild, close high-scoring game that saw the Rangers fall behind, rally and win in overtime. A rather nasty game as well, no fights but lots of stick related penalties, most in the second period.
The 1992-93 NHL season was the last one where total goals per game scored was over 7. Just five years later, it had fallen to the low 5s, and games like this one have become very rare. I kind of miss them!
