In this video we install the VTB V9600 Controller on a 2025 Surron Light Bee X using the stock motor and stock 60V 38Ah battery. While the VTB V9600 is capable of pushing up to 44kW, this setup shows how much performance you can still unlock using the factory hardware.
Stock Setup Specs:
Motor: Surron LBX PMSM Motor – 3kW nominal / 6kW peak
Battery: 60V 38Ah (LG/Panasonic 21700 cells) – ~2.3 kWh
VTB V9600 Controller Settings (with stock components):
Regen: 8A Max
Field Weakening: 40% (120A)
Battery Amps: 100A Max
KW Output by Mode:
Mode 3 – ~9kW peak
Mode 2 – ~7kW
Mode 1 – ~5kW
Phase Amps:
Mode 3 – 300A
Mode 2 – 250A
Mode 1 – 200A
This setup is ideal for smoother throttle control, more torque off the line, and better tuning flexibility compared to stock—even on factory components.
