Shakti featuring Jade 4 U on vocals [aka, Nikkie Van Lierop] was the very first recorded project for Maurice Engelen aka Praga Khan and Jos Borremans aka Chris Inger, who later on became the Belgian New Beat and Techno moguls with dozens of simultaneous projects worked on throughout the late 1980s and early-mid 1990s, most notably as the Lords Of Acid.
The entire Shakti catalogue, consisted of one EP and one single, these were put together in addition with a few more contemporary pieces from this same period which were then collated / compiled, and released in 1990 on CD by Antler Subway records [Belgium], the album [compilation] was simply called, Shakti [Featuring Jade 4U].
