BABYMETAL at Hellfest - June 27 2024 - Clisson, France - Front row

Описание: BABYMETAL performed at the legendary Hellfest festival in France on June 27 2024 and I had the honor of watching it from the barrier!

My show report for those interested:
As I stood at the barrier, I had no idea at that moment just how many people were standing behind me on that massive field. Turns out there was a crowd of 60,000 metalheads. Absolutely insane!

All three ladies came down to the front part of the stage several times and it was incredible to see them so close. The distance between the barrier and the stage was probably just one meter! I'm so glad I was able to record all of those moment pretty well. Watching these clips brings a smile on my face every time.

I could feel the pride the girls had when they stood on stage. Hellfest is a massive household name in the world of metal festivals (which I actually only learned after buying my tickets lol) and being able to play there, especially on one of two main stages at an evening time slot, must've felt like a true accomplishment. When Moa and Momo hugged each other during Road of Resistance, I could feel how happy and proud they were!

It was an intense show with a lot of crowd surfers and some heavy crushing. Midway through the show, I moved to the second row because I noticed the girl next to me had a hard time with the rowdy crowd. So I stood behind her, holding the barrier so she could enjoy the show better. It was her first BABYMETAL show after all. I tried my best participating, recording some videos, protecting the girl in front of me and having a near constant surge of crowd surfers in my neck. It was quite the multitasking 😅

I had an incredible time at Hellfest though. The atmosphere and theming of this festival is something I could've never imagined. Especially after dark when everything was illuminated by real flames. A lot of fans were not able to get tickets to Hellfest, it sold out within an hour. So that made it even more special to be there and represent the BABYMETAL fandom from the front row!
