I think I was more excited to see Clairo than I was Boygenius for this RESET show. Luckily since I lived close by, I showed up the night before and was first on line. I was standing outside the gates listening to LCD Soundsystem playing their set and slept on the street overnight with Carlo and Jenn. Despite having VIP, it turned out to be a mess since the venue had not opened the interior doors at the venue yet. Bartees was still soundchecking. So the fans started all filling into each portal entrance and it became a free for all. In the chaos of it all, I dropped my Boygenius camo merch shirt but luckily my friend Sabrina spotted the fan who picked it up and was able to return it back to me.

This time the Clairo show was better than Gov Ball in terms of sound, but it was a windy day and the set dressing white prop things were getting blown away hah. At some points strong wind gusts was blowing Claire around or blowing hair in her face. It interfered a little with the audio on my microphone, so since this show I bought a windscreen for the outdoor shows here. Hopefully the audio will be better going forward at Forest Hills.
