Quad Leaders' Meeting

Описание: Excellent discussions at the first in-person Quad leaders’ meeting at the White House in the US.

The Quad - Australia, India, Japan and the United States - is about demonstrating how great democracies such as ours can get things done and can respond to the big challenges that we face in a complex and changing world.

We came together today in collective strength, with mutual respect, transparently and, importantly, as one.

For Australia, the Quad is about how we keep Australia and the Indo-Pacific region we live in safe, secure and prosperous.

So much has been achieved since the first meeting of Quad leaders six months ago and we have great hope for what’s ahead.

That includes working together on low emissions technologies that will transform economies, to make cyberspace and emerging and critical technologies trusted and secure, and to manufacture and deliver over 1 billion COVID-19 vaccines to the Indo-Pacific region.
