We have the privilege of traveling the world to both teach and study various fighting systems. This next episode of our "Training Travelogue" series is actually a #ThrowbackThursday to the last Serak Symposium. This annual seminar taught by Grandmaster Willem de Thouars (AKA "Uncle Bill") focuses on Pentjak Silat Serak, an Indonesian combat art that uses knees, elbows, sweeps, and throws in close-quarters.
The seminar was hosted by Sensei Nicholas S. Milliken at Vision Quest Martial Arts in Colorado.
