A. Brown: "Uncovering the oldest stars in the Milky Way"
Anthony Brown is associate professor at Leiden Observatory and leads the data processing for the European Space Agency's Gaia mission which maps the locations, motions and astrophysical properties of over two billion stars in our home galaxy, the Milky Way. He will discuss what we have learned about the formation story of the Milky Way from the data collected by the Gaia spacecraft.
