Recent violence at churches—including the shooting at an LDS funeral in Salt Lake City—has revealed something deeply troubling in the Christian comment sections that followed: hatred, arrogance, and judgment disguised as faith.
I am not LDS. I am not Catholic by doctrine, though I attend Mass. I consider myself a Christian who believes that if you love Jesus Christ, you are a Christian—and that the endless division among denominations serves no holy purpose.
This video is not about watering down theology.
It is about rejecting arrogance, condemnation, and the false belief that any person has the authority to decide another soul’s fate.
Different denominations make different covenants. Those covenants matter—to the people who make them. They do not make one person superior to another, nor do they grant permission to judge, mock, or dehumanize.
Jesus was clear:
Love God. Love others.
If your faith produces hatred, pride, or the urge to tell someone they’re going to hell—then the work is not finished.
